The thought behind the name

A place.
A feeling.

Elsewhere does not have to be far away. Sometimes, it is simply a different way to spend the next hour.

altrove/ al·tró·ve /Italian · adverb · elsewhere

A word that
leaves room.

Altrove begins with a simple idea: there should be a little room in the day for yourself. For a coffee you take your time over. For a meal that becomes a conversation.

The name is Italian. The feeling is familiar. A brief step away from the rush, without needing to go very far.

A ceramic pour-over brewer, coffee server and cup in warm window light.
01 / Elsewhere

A change
of pace.

Not every hour needs an agenda. Altrove is an invitation to let one unfold: a late start, an unhurried catch-up, a moment between things.

02 / The pause

Less rush.
More room.

Our idea of a café is easy company. Come with a friend, bring a book, or simply follow the thought of a good cup of coffee.

03 / The ritual

The ordinary,
looked after.

We are shaping a menu around small pleasures: coffee, warm bakes and café comforts with a few Indian touches. Things to return to.
